limit to number of pages in notes brought from another source?

Rather new to Logos and while searching the forums on another subject it seemed that I came across one that indicated problems with how many pages could be added to a reference in Logos and still be able to view on iPad.

I used to use another Bible software program and have switched to Logos.  My hope is to be able to go to all those notes I've set up in the other program and individually copy and paste them into the matching verses in Logos.  But I think it wise to seek forum advice here.  Is there a proper system to use to keep from running into an issue of too many pages of notes in a file/folder (I get those two terms confused)?

I do need to access all these notes on my iPad as I will sometimes be speaking up in the mountains where only an iPad is practical to take along.  I've already sadly discovered yesterday that the iPad will not sync visual filters and so I'm just wanting wisdom on the whole "notes" transition steps.

Thanks for any advice.

In Logos you have Notes documents which can contain multiple Notes. So a Document is a container for holding Notes just as a Folder is a container for holding files on a desktop computer.

My practice - and that of many others - is to have a separate Notes document associated with each Logos resource - this allows me to contain notes and highlights in a manageable way.

I also have separate Notes documents for specific subjects I am looking at - notes for sermon series etc

    Does this help at all?
