The various videos talk of 66 Bible Book Guides under FACTBOOK. Did they do one for Daniel?  If so, should it be this hard to find it?

First I tried Daniel

I tried Book of Daniel

Daniel, Book of

Daniel, Book of, (Writings)

Prophesy of Daniel

Prophet Daniel

Various versions of : Writings Daniel

Writings (Daniel)

... anyone? ...

Yes, there is under Topic Guide: "Book of Daniel" but that is not the one shown in the videos with "Author,Background etc.

Is there a list somewhere of the correct titles needed for Fact Book?

Is Daniel even included?

Questions, questions, questions,

Thanks

Regards, SteveF

There have been several threads on this issue recently. A Logos employee has weighed in telling us that <Topic Book of Daniel> will work until they get the prioritization of the pick list glitches worked  out.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Dear "M.J."

Thanks so much! I had not seen those threads.

Are there any others they have issues with?

[I would not have been so "tenacious" but my next two sermons are on Daniel][:)]

I think there have been similar complaints on another book but don't recall for certain. Anyway topic/person/place etc is worth a try when getting frustrated.

Thank you, it [finally] does! That is exactly what I was hoping to find.

But where would I have found such "esoteric" knowledge?

That's what the forums are for. Unfortunately, the search doesn't help much in finding the answer ... but the more times a question is asked, the more of us know the answer to respond the next time.[:)]

Thank you. There is still some data to be loaded but I was impressed by how well Eli stuff a great deal of information in and still kept it simple.

I've run into this issue while tagging my Logos library books. How do I easily distinguish character Daniel  from Daniel the Book in the Bible? I've decided to tag resources on person Daniel as simply "Daniel" and book in the Bible as "OTDaniel". But this does bring up an issue of uniformity for Logos and I personally do not find it convenient to type "Epistle to Romans" when searching Factbook for information on Epistle to Romans. It is too much information to type. Logos should come up with Simple, Easy to remember, Short naming convention for books of the Bible - maybe even using accepted abbreviations such as 3Jn
