Prioritizing a Series
If I am not mistaken, it used to be possible to prioritize a series, such as a set of commentaries, by sorting the Library by Series and then dragging the whole series to the Prioritize list. This handy feature seems to have been lost in one of the upgrades. I realize that you can right click on one of the books in the series and select Prioritize this Series. But I find dragging the whole group was much simpler and quicker.

It's still there. You have to click to expand the series and drag one volume from it over to the Prioritize list, and that will prioritize the whole series.
Not very intuitive. Perhaps they should put in the ability to drag the collapsed series title when sorting the Library by Series. But I don't believe that was ever, there, so nothing has been lost. See Mark Barnes's videos on prioritizing resources.

You can also right-click on any resource (in the library view) which belongs to a series and choose "Prioritize this series".

I figured this out. Kind of a pain. You have to sort by series and them expand the series and choose representative book. There is no right click menu when you click on the collapsed series title.
I also notice that now if you drag a resource that is part of the series, it automatically drags the whole series. That is not necessarily what I always want, but it is probably a good idea for the average person. (This is in 4.0B, beta 3).

It doesn't drag the whole series if you hold the Ctrl key down while dragging a single volume from a collapsed series. It only prioritizes that volume. I believe this is explained in one of the videos; I can't remember which one. (I never would have figured this out by serendipity, and I doubt many users would stumble upon it by accident.)

Yup, that's what I would have thought, too. It's never too late to change. They got away with rewriting the whole user interface and making people learn a new way of doing things, so they could change one obscure little thing if they really wanted to...[;)]
