logos has crashed when installing logos 6.

While installing logos 6 my program crashed. I have tried rebuild index command several times it gets to 18% and tells me it has stopped working. It also tells me I have a corrupt index file. I have exhausted my knowledge of what I should do. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

HI Gwen - and welcome to the forums
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Please enable diagnostic logging and post logs after Logos stops working - details are at https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

Hello Graham, thanks for getting back to me. I made the logs yesterday there are three of them not sure if you need them all so I have attached the last one made which when I closed logos. They tell me the file has been corrupted somehow?

The error that's logged is "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." This suggests a problem with Windows itself, so I'd recommend a full disk check for errors.
It looks like you have Windows Vista; here are the instructions on how to scan your disk: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors
Also, Logos 6 requires Windows 7 (or later), so you won't be able to install Logos 6 (although you can still use all the new books that come in a Logos 6 base package).

Thanks Graham, I have already done this yesterday, but it doesn't report anything.... in fact I don't think it even checks the hard drive. I am a little afraid that it is something I will need to take to have repaired professionally. Thanks for your help.
