Home page settings gear

There are a number of features in Logos 5 that have not been carried over to Logos 6. You can choose what category (Prayer lists, Reading Lists, etc) you want to have visible, but you can not reorder the items in the list. That is a lose for me. I would like to see that function restored.

Works fine for me in Logos 6.0a. You can drag the sidebar items up and down to reorder them. Here's a screencast of me doing it: http://www.screencast.com/t/oGqsFYKnRqC
I'm not sure if this is something that was temporarily broken in 6.0 and restored in 6.0a or not, but I don't recall seeing anything about it in the bug fixes for 6.0a. 6.0a is still in beta, but it just hit Release Candidate state, so it should be shipping soon.

The screen cast shows what I am aware of that works. But that is not what I am missing. Go to Logos 5, and when you click on the gear at the bottom of the side bar, every item in your prayer list or your reading list appears, and you can rearrange the individual items in the category, not just change the order of which category is on top.

Aha, I see. I don't have Logos 5 on my desktop anymore. I'll take your word for it. I'll try to bring this thread to the attention of someone in Faithlife who can respond appropriately and can pass the request along to development.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it.

It was an intentional choice to streamline the home page customization menu. In general, we went for speed and simplicity in the redesign, and we actually like it this way -- it matches the experience on mobile and at Faithlife pretty closely. But enough folks have disagreed that we'll be bringing some of the customization options back in a release in the near future. Thanks for keeping us on our toes. :-)

Thanks for the reply, Eli. Appreciate the work and thought that you put in. I would really appreciate having that option back. It helps me with my organization and work

I do like the new home page in L6. However, would it be possible to:
1) Reorder the content just like the Sidebar. There are things I want to see in the Content panel without having to scroll down.
2) Allow at least some items to move from the content Panel to the Sidebar panel. One item I would like to move to the Sidebar is a devotional.
Still enjoying all the new features of L6.
