More Updates after Down-Installed A10??

Last night I downloaded/installed the A10 updates and the program indexed. So I opened up L4 this morning and noticed the blue symbol in the top right. When I moved my cursor over it, a window appeared informing me that 976 mb were being downloaded. Is this update a part of the A10; if so, what exactly did I update last night? If not, what does this update include and do? I'm beginning to wonder if I'll have any space left on my HD by the time this program is moved up to 'beta' status - let alone the fully released program (yikes!).
I'd like to suggest that there be some way to know what exactly the program is downloading by way of updates before it automatically downloads them. I'm not talking about 'turning auto updates off' and opting for the manuel thing. I'm talking about being notified that "xyz" updates are available with a short blurb about them and prompt the user with the question, "would you like to...?" As it is now, I only know that Logos 4 keeps dumping more stuff on my HD, stuff that I assume will make the program better and more efficient to which I say, "O Goddess Assumption, don't fail me."
