Has anybody tried importing favorites (use "import favorites" in the command bar) in 4.0b Beta 2 or Beta 3?
Does it work well? Are the imported favorites arranged correctly and still linking to the right place? Is there anything we could improve?
Bradley, my Favorites came in OK, but I used "Import All'. At that point "High-lighting" also came in successfully. BUT in order to get notes I had to make a second attempt using the specific "import Notes" command. And I'm very sorry but I did not think to log this.
I have since used these Favorites (and now also "nested" other files/drawers within them). I have also been able to make further "changes" ie. Recently in Beta 3 I made a new Favorite in Libronix 3, used the supplied Tool Bar "button" and then issued the "Import" command in L4 successfully. The new Favorites appeared.
Thanks for this
Steve.

Did mine they came across in good order- but I did notice the PBB folder has all the items but of course could not view- said I did not have the license- assuming this is happening because they are not L4 files yet.
But "import notes" is another story- I ran the update toolbar for L3- updated notes and then tried to import- it just runs and runs and the log contains warnings.

log file to large
It's not unheard of for notes importing to take a long time, especially if you have a lot of note content to import.
The logging during the beta testing of notes importing is also especially verbose. There is quite a lot of garbage in the html of many note files that can safely be ignored.
Once you've imported, please post any issues with the imported content to a new thread (including the original LDLS3 note file).
Mark set a great example with his notes issues thread at: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/8985.aspx
Thanks.
