Facebook Share?

I tried to share a few sentences from a book to Facebook but it shared a bibla.com splash page/link and not the sentences I selected. How do I change my settings to make this work correctly?

Where are you sharing this from?  What version of the software?

At one time - and may still be the case - this was related to a Facebook restriction

Sorry that I forgot to include my setup. I'm using L6 with MacBook Pro with the latest Yosemite
