Visual Copy questions

Hi all, hoping to get a few questions answered about the new Visual Copy feature so I fully understand it.

1) Is it possible to save as an image file so that I can edit it w/ Photoshop afterwards? What directory is the file saved in (or am I able to choose that w/ a "Save As..." dialog? I'd like to have a little more control w/ them with Social Media other than "upload" to FB.

2) Can I choose the resolution of the saved file?

3) What file format are the templates (before editing them in Logos)? Are they stored in a specific directory? I'm curious if they can be edited before putting the quote text on them in Logos.

I am not able to experiment at present, but I can answer your third question:

What file format are the templates (before editing them in Logos)? Are they stored in a specific directory? I'm curious if they can be edited before putting the quote text on them in Logos.

These are actually done "online" and not based on files stored on your computer... You can't modify them (or add your own backgrounds) at present.

Yes. There's a "Save As" dialog box.

    2) Can I choose the resolution of the saved file?

No, just the aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9).

    3) What file format are the templates (before editing them in Logos)? Are they stored in a specific directory? I'm curious if they can be edited before putting the quote text on them in Logos.

All the templates are stored online, and the rendering is done online. They therefore can't be edited.

    2) Can I choose the resolution of the saved file?

no, it is maxed out at 1024x576 I believe.

it is possible to get a "blank" background file from Visual Copy by deleting the Body Text and Reference/Author. VC will allow saving in PNG, Bitmap, JPEG, TIFF or GIF. You will then be able to modify the Background in Photoshop or another editor and then manually apply the text to the slide.

It would be awesome if we could use our own backgrounds.
