Can we do this?

Remember the old Bible theme tool in L3?

Currently, we have several "counting" tools:

  • words lists can be used to import a passage and can display frequency.
  • graph search results also graph frequency.

But neither of these allow analysis of results by semantic field. Perhaps there is a way to do this with all the various tools and commands we have, but I have not found it yet: 1. Find out the number of occurences AND 2. Sort them by semantic domains (Louw-Nida numbers?).

Doesn't Analysis view (and group by Louw-Nida) do this - at least for Greek?

Somewhat. I mean, one could -- arguably -- do a morph search for verbs, then sort them by LN. Then do the same for nouns. Then adverbs and adjectives. One would then need to bring together the results.

I am assuming here not something small like say Jude, but larger like say, Gospel of John. Were I to try to search all of the above and run analysis, Logos would crash (at least on my system).

So, this is not a great solution.
