Creating New Notes

I've noticed that after creating a new note, when I right click on a verse/word, I only have the option to add a note to an existing note and not create a new one. It does give me the option to create a new community note. Is there a way to easily create a new note that isn't connected to my previous notes when studying a passage like this?

Technically you are adding a new note to a notes document (a notes document is a "container" of notes)
The right-click menu allows you to either add a note to any of your open notes documents or - if none are open - to the last one you used.
There isn't any option for creating a new notes document from the right-click menu - it has been requested in the past and a case raised (https://community.logos.com/forums/p/49524/369689.aspx#369689) but I don't know the status

I guess that makes sense. Sometimes I just want to add a note to a passage I came across and only want it associated with that passage and so was hoping this was a way to keep it simple.
