If you have any suggestions about what features you'd like to see in the mobile apps please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/65557.aspx

There are many times I want to refer to something that I know is in my library or search for something in my library when I am in a disconnected from any internet connectivity.
And please be aware that you can't currently do a "complete library search" on the iPad when offline
What you can do is search "recent resources" so you may still not find the information you are looking for
See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/86997.aspx for a further discussion of this

Sure. This is my advice, and you can choose to take it or leave it.
- The best fix for many problems is to reinstall, which means losing all of your downloaded resources... which is a pain.
- The more resources you have downloaded, the greater the possibility that the install will become corrupted, which will require you to reinstall.
- When you reinstall, the app wants to redownload everything you had downloaded. If that gets interrupted, you can get a corrupted install... which will require you to reinstall.
- When you have downloaded resources, you must keep up with updates for those resources. When you don't do a good job of that, there become conflicts... which isn't good.
You can use a filter to download a subset of your library. For example: you could tag resources in your library as "mobile" (or whatever) and use the filter mytag:mobile to show only those resources. A press of "download all" will download just that set.
And again, without <meaning> to be repetitive, you will have to live with the consequences of that choice. The mobile app isn't intended to be a replacement for the desktop app. If you want your entire library, a laptop would be a better choice.
Thanks for your response and your thoughts--appreciated.
I have only used the mobile App for iOS on my iPad for a couple of years, starting when the 3.0 version was first released in 2012 and then upgrading the App whenever there was a new release. I have gone many, many months with using the iPad App with my full library downloaded to my device and using the App on a daily basis--without any problems. However, in the last few short weeks (as I posted elsewhere on the forums) I have had my library disappear 3 times. I delete the iPad App, wait a few minutes for the storage on the iPad to be recovered by the iOS, delete my device in my account area on logos.com, ensure the device is no longer recognized in the desktop Logos program (i.e. the library no longer sees resources by device type), re-install the Bible App, and then re-download my library.
On a daily basis, I use the Bible App on my iPad to complement what I am doing with the PC version of the Logos application. I have a high-end laptop with a dual monitor setup--performance and screen real estate is not a problem. And I do understand the limitation of the functionality on the iPad App, but I do try and maximize its use to work for me. On the iPad I also have Vyrso loaded which I use almost exclusively for reading and the Faithlife App which I typically use when I am at church. The way I look at it, it is like having three different views of my Logos resources for three different useage scenarios without the need to constantly change the resources in a single iPad App. I keep the full library downloaded to my Bible App, but only an incredibly limited subsection of resources downloaded the Faithlife and Vyrso Apps that I delete and add as necessary. (I actually wish the mobile Apps could actually share the same library on my iPad, but that is difficult with iOS because of how the iOS manages so much of the storage behind the scenes.
So, yes I hear you that the mobile app is not intended to be a desktop replacement--and is even 'less' of a replacement when the App is offline and not connected to the Logos back-end servers. I know I don't have access to the Guides when I don't have an network connection. I don't think I am trying to use the Bible App as a replacement--I like to use it to complement my PC version of the L6 software (or previously L4 and L5) when in my office. When I am mobile, I want to be mobile. I love the ability to access my library and search resources when not connected to the Internet. I know that searching on the iPad is not the same as the PC, but it functions for what I need to do when wanting to search withing a book or to search my library by title, author, or search for which books fit a certain 'type:', for example 'type: commenary acts' to pull up 184 resources on my iPad when offline and select which one I want to review or read.
This whole thread started with the OP being concerned with her library disappearing from her iPad--the same thing so many others have had issues with most recently. And, the exact problem I have had happen three times in a relatively short period of time. To me, this is not about a the iPad App having less functionality--although I very much appreciate the discussion and different point of views. BUT, this is about losing all of the resources someone has downloaded to a device that is supposed to be mobile and not having to have a permanent connection to the Internet. Considering that I have gone many months without a problem and hundreds of times using the App without being connected to the Internet...all without losing my entire fully-downloaded library, should I not be able to expect that this should be the norm with the Bible App? I think so.

Thanks Graham. Yes, I am aware of the overall limitations to search functionality of the iPad Bible App when connected to the Internet and the further reduced search capabilities and lack of Guides when the App is completed disconnected from the logos.com servers. I mentioned some of this to alabama24 in my response. I appreciate the reminder.
