I have occasionally posted information about programs that could be used as an alternative for Notes when using LOGOS software.  This morning I came across this list of on-line note taking tools.

The Six Best Online Note Taking Apps You Would Love To Know

I have not used all of these resources, but the ones I do know if are well done; the others I suspect are also worth looking at.

Smashing Apps, the source of this link, is a great source for mostly free on-line tools.  They post a list of resources like this three or four times a week.

Thank you for the link.  Always nice to see what is being developed, and I always seem to want to move to the "newest bestest" app.

They skip both evernote and onenote, probably the best known and most popular note taking apps.  The only problem with pure cloud apps like these, is when you don't have internet access and need your notes you are out of luck.  L4 and evernote use the cloud for syncing instead of computing, and you can use windows live sync to do that with onenote, which makes all of their note taking abilities more suited for me.

It's amazing they list Google Notebooks when Google itself says, "Google recently stopped development on Notebook, which means it is no
longer being improved upon or open to sign-ups by new users."
