Why does this search do this?

I have made a passage list of various passages on the scandal of the cross and search this: " scandal WITHIN  {PassageList Cross Scandal}" It returns all footnotes.....

I eventually figured I had to search:  " scandal  AND  {PassageList Cross Scandal}" and I get surface text.

Is this the proper way to use this "passage list search?"

If want to search *within* those bible passages you need to use the Passage List as a Range:-

e.g.

Find 'Lord' within selected passages for the Hebrew word 'Yahweh'.

This will find occurrences of 'scandal' AND any of the bible references in the passage list. It won't be successful in a Bible and has marginal value in non-bibles unless you change it to scandal  NEAR  {PassageList Cross Scandal}
