Crash installing updates

Description

Libronix update crashes the program.

Repro

1.  Open Libronix,

2.  Notice blue icon in tasktray informing me of updates.

3.  right click blue icon and install updates

4.  Logos "closes" and the splash screen appears for a bit of time.  followed by a crash and a report sent to Microsoft.

 

Actual Result

crash and System report sent to Microsoft (gee are they allowed to know about Libronix 4?)  When the program did restart it went back to indexing with the old warning about preparing the library taking a very long time.

Expected Result

Update should have completed and program restarted normally.

System Specs (if using multiple computers or not in your signature)

• Laptop

• Windows XP home SP3 all patches.

• Pentium 4 @2.4 GHz, 512MB ram SIS video chipset.

Primariliy running through Microsoft RDP on local network.

Just a follow up.

Due to my low ram (Actually 384 mb)  Indexing is slowing my system to a crawl.  I gave up and closed VNC and returned to the OLD version 3.  :-)

 

I can't wait for the DVD to arrive so I can test on a more significant machine.
