Even the biblical writers sometimes quoted opponents. Given the growing influence and acceptance of Mormonism, we need to be prepared to expose darkness with light. I will agree that Faithlife's description seems to want to have it both ways, offering the books as valuable for apologetics, but calling the LDS a "sometimes controversial church."

This is also one that I have seen languish too long. I expected it to reach 100% rather quickly, but it has been moving extremely slowly.

Doesn't surprise me, there's not much interest. Sure, it may have to do with Logosians not having a lot Mormons nearby to flog with century-old talking points.
But living around Mormons, it's a day late and dollar short. The best material to use discussing with Mormons is their own modern material. They're no dummies ... in the last 20 years or so, they've been publishing quite a number of books describing in excruciating details their history. And quite revealing too.
The other problem is that the Mormons, along with quite a number of major denominations have 'progressive revelation'. So, arguing from a century ago is simply arguing divine revelation choices (in their eyes). Plus they're quite educated; I use a lot of Brigham Young Univ material almost every day.
This may sound like I'm 'talking down' but not. I'm just saying the world's changed. Old stuff is old stuff. Great for religious historians, just like any of the other theologies. A single good book on Mormonism from recent years is going to be far more useful. Ditto with any of the denominations.
