I concluded that that was meant to happen. Obviously, it isn't. Looking forward to seeing this bundle!

Is there dynamic pricing on this bundle? I have a lot of the resources already, and it's still offering me a price of $299.95.

The black friday sales have been a let down for me. Nothing "wow".
Plus none works with my dynamic pricing
0 -
Noticed Dynamic pricing not working so I'm not interested as it looks like I'd own a very significant portion of this bundle.

Found the same Graham.

No dynamic pricing own 75% of these books- disappointed.

I own about 80% of these titles and dynamic pricing would be nice. However, I'm not even sure that I would be intrested even with dynamic pricing. [:^)]

The email I received from Logos says dynamic pricing applies, but it is not working. Can they fix this?

That would be nice.

I will be interested if the dynamic price is made to work. I already a substantial number of the resources in the package.

I too will only be interested if dynamic works but being in the UK - it will probably be when I'm asleep - sigh.
Sometime 24hr support coverage being a "global coverage" company should be considered.

I can't see this being much interest to anyone without dynamic pricing.

Needs dynamic pricing. Logos please fix this.

I'm not particularly interested in this, even with dynamic pricing. The journals are ok, but I really want up to date journal access and not old journals. The rest seems to be a bit of a hotch potch of random books so if one wants the Pulpit commentary on Malachi, fine, but tough luck if you wanted John's gospel or 1 Thessalonians.
I cannot imagine the same person actually wanting "Famous Reformers of the Reformed and Presbyterian Churches", "Biblical Women Unbound" and "How to succeed in the Christian life", but this is definitely a bundle for people with a Reformation bent
However, Logos have a huge remit to serve all different types of Christians so it's unlikely that one bundle would suit all.

Yeah no Dynamic pricing, random collection of odd titles.. Still dont get any emails.. Hope someone from Logos can look into this..

Anyone more with an opinion about the package? I don't have almost any of the volumes, just one. Some of these volumes I would buy anyway. I have calculated that if I would take the regular price of just the volumes I might be interested in (several which would be created needs), the discount I would get with the total package sale price $299.95 calculating those volumes only, would be 53.2%. What I myself like about the package is that no entire series are included. As I would expect 60% off to feel sure I want a deal, I would like to hear if there's some value I might have missed. Currently I don't value the rest which is included. The highest typical discount for individual volumes is 50% off but would necessitate following all the twitter and facebook daily deals all the time which would be quite time-consuming and even then one would collect only a fraction of these volumes.

I was not impressed with neither the selection nor the price. What I would like to see beside the Dynamic pricing is the New to Me titles: What I am actually getting for the (dynamic price) they are offering)
Faithlife seems to be dropping the ball constantly when they roll out new products, introduce specials, etc. We hear a lot of excuses and it always seems to be a race to catch up. The bottom line is: it is hard to make a favorable decision with the information Logos provides. Fix this and you are most likely going to increase sales!

Dynamic pricing or not, this "deal" doesn't feel like much of a deal. From a glance, it appears that the vast majority of the books included are public domain (thus there are no royalties to be paid to a publisher) and a random mixture. Not impressed at all. I don't consider it a great deal when what ought to be one of the best deals of the year includes paying roughly $2.00 per public domain book (and having to shell out $300 total). I know that the Logos versions of public domain titles are far more valuable than the free pdfs available, but come on: is this the best Faithlife can offer for Cyber Monday?

A random mixture is fine IMO.
When it comes to public domain: it would require too much effort from me to select say 50 volumes of public domain titles, it would probably take me more than a decade. So if the selection here is OK it does add some value even if there are a lot of titles included which I'm certain I would never choose (for example some because of their age) no matter what price.I doubt I would use the commentaries, I'm careful when it comes to choosing commentaries. One of them I will use at some point but I bought that volume last Winter: Mark 2nd series from the Cambridge Greek Testament.
It's a pretty big package, if it would be smaller even proportionally less interesting content, it would appeal to me more.

This is an astute observation.

I know I cannot expect every package to appeal to me, and that's okay. I would go broke it they did.
But this is one of the least appealing offers I have seen - of course that is just my opinion.
For one thing, I am not interested in getting a few volumes out of one set and a few volumes out of another. (There are some commentary sets that I would be interested in just certain volumes, but for something like Campbell Morgan's Analyzed Bible, or Wesley's Works, I would wait until I could buy the whole set. I certainly would not spend money for just a few volumes such sets. I would just use the public domain version until I could buy the entire set from Logos.
This more of an advertising gimmick than a sale. Try a volume or two of this set and see if you want to buy it. Apparently, that is the idea. And the featured volumes are mostly from sets that are not big sellers I suspect.
I don't see it as much of a bargain.

Whilst it's nice to get complete sets, this way has two benefits: (a) try before making a major commitment to a whole set; and (b) the prospect of a significant dynamic pricing discount if/when you do buy.

Oh, Analyzed Bible is by Campbell Morgan? I had not looked, so that's why I'm surprised, can't remember everything by heart. That's definitely some value. But You're right if it's very incomplete it's a bit less value, although in my estimation not a lot less. The one volume I would like to add soon, probably at the same time, would be: The Analyzed Bible, Vol. 4 on GJn:

I had not spotted those. Great, just sent emailed the order before I read Your post more carefully - I had read it prior to emailing but didn't react at first to You mentioning the ICC. Thank, Travis!:

Ok my dynamic price was 6.45 for three biography's and a book on the passion conspiracy, so I took up the offer. Thanks for fixing the dynamic pricing Logos.

$85 for really old books seems a bit much for me. Only 2-3 books are interesting.
Sorry, I'll wait for a better one.

Yeah usually these mega packs are decent.. the last few have been ok.. This one.. not so much. I will pass also. Expected something better and every time now Logos has a new Mega pack or package, the "new to you" feature should be automatically enabled. This should be STANDARD now not just something we get randomly.

Wow. This AM, I scrutined quickly the series and then closed out, with the assumption they'd fix the dynamic pricing.
I never dreamed they were playing games. Missing pieces of old series. That's amazing, even for Logos.

Public Domain books will always be a significant proportion of these "Mega Packs", it's what allows them to be offered. Sometimes it's worth picking up the bundle and ignoring the chaff, other times there's so much chaff it's not worth picking out the wheat. For me the four books I didn't own were of interest, but if my dynamic price had of been around $100 mark or higher probably would have joined you in passing on this bundle as I agree it wasn't one of the better ones -no doubt the balancing act is difficult in putting these offers together and there will be some customer out there who may well just find this package sits well with them.

I paid $32 for 21 volumes , and it looks pretty good value to me as a sampler.
Weirdly though most of the collections that feature the books that I downloaded do not have dynamic pricing, which seems to undermine the collections logic.

I jumped on it too. ~70 titles that I didn't have. Cost me about 100$, and lowered the cost of the cc&s bundle by about 50$, in addition to lowering the cost of a couple BP's I've been looking at. Plus if the Morgan Campbell collection ever gets dynamic pricing than I'll be getting a discount too.

AGREED! I also have to respectfully disagree with the statement on the Mega Pack page that "This is the ultimate library-builder bundle."
Having been fortunate enough to "discover" Logos Bible Software in 2006, THIS was the ULTIMATE Library Builder Bundle:

Oh, to see deals like this again.

Now that was a deal! And so nicely laid out, so you can see what you are getting.

I hate to disagree, but actually THIS was the ultimate Library Builder Bundle. Christmas 2010: 2010 resources for $1 each.

Those were good deals, but as they say "times have changed".
Why don't we look at the positive side of things? [:)]

If my memory serves me these mega bundles never had dynamic pricing, swings and roundabouts..
0 -
Lets not get negative. At the moment Logos has more Base Packages than ever and I would suggest that they in many cases are better deals than any Library builder!

But as I suspected by the time this was sorted - it was too late for me here in the UK
Shame.

Kevin, contact sales and I'm sure they can put this right for you. I doubt they'd want to lose out on your sale because of their own error.
