Can I chang the title of a book?

I recently bought a commentary on Genesis, of which I own many. When I look under "Commentaries" in the passage guide, this one simply comes up as "Genesis" rather than what I would prefer to get to it more quickly, "Brazos Theological Commentary: Genesis." Is there a way I can change that?

Good question, but I don't think so. Probably something to do with 'rights.'

Yes you can edit the title from within my library on the info panel for a book, I do this a lot so title is more useful in mobile app as well as passage guide. Just click on pencil near title.

Here's a screenshot, see the highlighted pencil icon. I have done this will all the Tyndale Commentaries so they are more distinguishable in the PG and mobile app.

Yes you can.

Open your Library (CTRL-L opens it to a floating window - much easier to work with, IMHO).
Find your resource by typing the title or author in the search box (if you want you can type author:lastname to narrow down the list).
If the information panel isn't open already, click the little "i" with the circle around it to the right of the search box.
At the end of the title is a little pencil-type icon. Click that and edit the title any way you want.

If that doesn't make sense, post back your question.

Well ... in the pecking order of all tips, this is almost near the top (the official list is retained in the henhouse for easy pecking).

Editing the titles allows for easy sorts in Logos menus and searches. And strangely enough, the edited titles get picked up on your mobile apps too, where confusion abounds (in the titles).

The edited titles also sync to mobile devices, at least I can verify Android. I'm not sure if it only works on downloaded resources, since all of the ones I edited are also downloaded to my phone.

But it apparently isn't reflected on the Biblia and Faithlife websites.

You can also edit the short titles. This is helpful for for what is displayed on the tabs when you have multiple tabs in one column.

[Y] Yes very worthwhile doing a bit of this sort of 'maintenance' work on your library every now and then with resources as you use them - particularly one's where the short title is no so helpful.

Be Aware: Changing the title will affect taking notes if you use a highlighter that is set to resource specific. If you change the title of a book after having already highlighted to a resource specific file, you will need to change the title of your notes file to match or Logos will create a new note file to match the new resource title.

Yep. I learned that the hard way.

And I learned you can't change the association on the mis-associated resource specific note file, either. (At least, you couldn't right after this feature came out and I was busy learning things the hard way.)
