Do you realize how much this costs? As a single offering it would almost be prohibitive in price. I think it would need to be broken down into sections. Perhaps individual volumes might be offered.

Breaking it up might destroy it's usefulness, especially if it is like any good encyclopedia and heavily cross referenced. It might be very expensive to print and the publisher might be willing to have a substantially reduced cost published through Logos (there will always be those who if they like a resource enough will want to make sure they have a hard back as well as software edition. I know it is not as recent or even likely as in-depth but if http://www.logos.com/product/8537/the-jewish-encyclopedia can't get developed for the amazing price it is what luck is there for a large enough market for this work (I have no doubt it would be of great benefit, although personally I wouldn't be in the market for it because of cost, I couldn't justify more than $250-$300 for it and I don;t see it every being that cheap even as a prepub).

The print edition is certainly expensive, to say the least, but there seems to be an electronic version at 10% of that cost. However, the 22 vol set seems to have been superseded by a 26 vol one, so I'm assuming the "Full version" at $249 is what we really should look at. That's not too prohibitive. Neusner's costs more.
And I really wish Logos could produce this at this price:

I'm in for the Jewish Encyclopedia which is in Community Pricing at the moment, and I would like to be in for this as well though at $2,000.00 I wouldn't really be able to justify it. I have the ICC which I got on prepub, but, if I were considering its purchase today at $1750.00, I would have to think long and hard about that. They now offer separate NT and OT sections which are possible but still rather prohibitive. They also offer separate volumes which would be more likely to be purchased even though the total price would be greater. The question is whether they would want to sell 22 separate volumes for a price > $2000 or 22 volumes as a unit for $2000.00 with few or no sales.

Yes, if the price is acceptable. But in the mean time, as I have requested previously in other threads, I would love this dictionary (from the same website) or something similar, to be offered in Logos. IMO, they can't get this out fast enough. I need it yesterday.

Yes. However, not being a prolific speaker, I want something that has vowel pointings. Does this dictionary have them? I guess I'm assuming because of its size that it does.

Yes but the pointing system in Modern Israeli Hebrew is not the same as the pointing system in Tiberian Hebrew. Modern Israeli Hebrew pointing is a modern invention that created strict rules as to how words should be vocalized. It follows some tendencies that can be found in Tiberian Hebrew but should not serve as a guideline to the Tiberian or Mishnaic Hebrew vocalization. If however you intend to immigrate to Israel I guess this dictionary is a must [:)]
