Issues with 4.4.0 Release on iPad2 (iOS6)
I am having multiple issues with Logos 4.4.0 for iOS on my iPad2 (running iOS6).
(1) Buttons on many windows are almost completely grayed out
(2) The highlighting is erratic (text gets highlighted beyond what I have highlighted; it disappears and then reappears, etc.)
(3) When Bible passages are accessed from resources, I normally get the text of Scripture with words in blue that are hyperlinked to Greek/Hebrew tools. Since the upgrade, they no longer work on the iPad2 (but they do on my iPhone 6, running iOS8.
The program is running well on the iPhone, so is the issue the older iOS6? Is there a fix? Will there be an upgrade released to address issues such as this?
Thanks,
Peter Wise

Peter,
Support for iOS 6.x will soon be dropped and we don't plan on shipping any iOS 6 fixes for devices that are capable of running iOS 8.x (like your iPad 2).

Any reasons you haven't upgraded to iOS 8.8.1?

iOS 8.1.2 is now out.
Just installed it.
Not having any problems.

Does iOS 8 work well on an iPad 4th generation (about 1.5 years old)?

I heard anecdotal reports that there may be issues with sluggishness and a significant amount of space.

I have iPad4 and iOS8 .. no problems with the OS ... works smoothly. There were (as is becoming usual) some issues with iOS in the first weeks, but Apple have fixed most of those now.
I did see some sluggish page turning within Logos itself ... but this turned out to be a legacy of corrupted resource files cause by the great server crash a few weeks ago.
