Searching for counseling/chaplain type resources

I am not a pastor or chaplain so haven't pursued these resources before. But God is pushing me a bit that direction and I'm looking at the Chaplain bundle. Before I do that, I'd like to know what resources I currently have in my own library and group them into Favorites.

Is there a way to search for those type resources? I tried Subject:counseling and didn't come up with much. (Also subject:chaplain and subject:crisis) Maybe I don't have much....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

For the layperson, I think that these would be extremely helpful. I use them as a pastor and in my counseling sessions. Biblically-centered and laid out in a helpful way, I have them downloaded to all my mobile devices just so I can have them in an emergency.

Thanks for the ideas on new resources. I'm definitely going to check into those for my library.

This in included in both the chaplains bundle and the pastoral care and counselling bundle. So I would recommend looking at your dynamic pricing and budget before buying the Hope for the HeRt Library as it will be cheaper as part of one of those packages. I did not own the June Hunt Library and was able to pick it up as part of the Chaplians Library at dynamic price less than it would have cost to buy the June Hunt Library on its own. And I got additional resources for that price.

You could try this library filter and see what you find:

"pastoral care" OR "care of souls" OR counseling

You could also try various specific topics that chaplains/counselors end up getting called to help with. These are some of the subjects that show up in my Pastoral Care collection, for example:

bereavement, aging, divorce, marriage, "mental health", "mental illness", psychology, crisis, grief, suffering

If you leave off the subject: filter before the words you try, you'll get a wider variety of hits; For example, "crisis" might be mentioned in the Title or the Description but not in the Subject, and if you just search for "crisis" you'll find any of them.
