Why are some updated resources shown as links in the report?

When we update resources then click on the list of updated resources, some are in black and just part of the list; others show in blue and are links to info about the resource. What is the significance of the different ways of presenting the updates?

Without seeing a screen shot or having any more info... I think you are describing the difference between book resources being updated (and being blue) and data set resources being updated (being in black).
