L6 crashes no matter what

I have been having problems since I updated to L6 a month ago. Still haven't been able to use online. Tommy with Tech. has been helping. Supposedly the issue was fixed yesterday, but it still crashes. I was wondering if uninstalling the program and reinstalling is hard to do? Anyone know if I should try this?

Are you saying that you can use Logos 6 offline but it always crashes when online?

The first thing I would suggest is ensuring diagnostic logging is enabled and then posting logs in a reply to this thread (please use the paperclip icon). That might give us some idea what is going on.

I have been working with Tommy in tech and Development. I have sent logs several times to them. Tommy even took over my computer a couple times trying to find the issue. Friday they thought they had it resolved but when I tried using it on line it crashed, during update, then again during indexing and then again after those finished and I had restarted my computer. It crashes even if I do nothing but watch on the home page.

Definitely one for the Developers as I've seen similar errors/crashes connected with text ranges in Notes

e.g. Text range end position precedes start position, falling back to start position.

I doubt that would fix the problem as it seems to be connected with Notes, which will only be re-sync'd as I saw in your log and still crash Logos.

You should wait until Monday as I think the issue needs to be escalated to the Developers.

Well, it has been resolved. PTL! They had to delete a note file that I had started with my iphone. It had nothing in it though. This was on Monday, I think. I just wanted to give an update.

Much appreciated. Hopefully this bug will be fixed as the software shouldn't crash on an empty Note
