Is there an easy way to make sure that all my resources made the jump with me from Logos 4 to Logos 6? I just finished the update overnight and I want to confirm I still have all the resources from my Logos 4 library.
With Logos 6 upgrading over Logos 4 you shouldn't lose any resources.
To check you have all the resources you are licensed for you could use the command "update resources" - this could take some time.
It should just work; you should have all your original resources plus more. But if you're uncertain and don't trust it and would like to manually check all the resources that you know you had in L4 (based on whatever base package you owned), you can go through the list of resources in your base package plus any add-on bundles you bought (you can find the list of those on your Orders page on Logos.com) and compare it with what you've got now. The lists of what resources were in all the base packages for prior versions of Logos is on a Google Docs spreadsheet that has been painstakingly maintained by a group of user volunteers here.
If you had thought to make a list of everything you owned in L4 before doing the upgrade you could have used Steve Clark's handy Logos Library Reporter tool to compare. But I'm afraid it's too late for that now. However keep it in mind for the future.
If you know the Library count of resources from L4 and you had rated all those resources (1-star or higher) you can filter your new library with
myrating:>0 and you should have the same count (assuming you haven't rated any of the new resources).
Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the responses.
