Easy old testament reading plan?

Hi

Can anyone suggest an easy Old Testament reading plan.

I have almost completed reading the books of the bible in alphabetitical order.

But I am thinking of going for more quality over quantity reading next year.

I plan to read only 5 chapters of the New Testament a week for a year. But I would like a lighter Old Testament plan to put alongside this.

Any Ideas?

How much do you want to read? Is there specific parts / genres of the Old Testament / period in Israel's history you want to focus or are you just looking for a broad sweep of the OT, or the whole of the OT? If the later the simplest option would be to just set up a reading plan and let Logos work out how much you need to read each week, but I assume you are wanting something more than that.  As a side option I would recommend reading through Psalm 119, 8 verses a day, for an extended period.  I find it's focus on the Word of God helpful and keep coming back to do this regularly.  I'd be interested to hear what OT reading ideas others have also.
