Citations not copying

Not sure if this is a bug as I figured someone would have said something by now. However, when I copy text from a resource and past it into a text app the citation does not come along. I have the preference checked.

Any ideas? Is this a known bug?

I've just tried this on Windows 8.1 and the latest beta and it works fine.

How large a portion of text are you copying? Small extracts (about 50 characters or fewer) don't generate citations.

If that's not the issue - do you see the same behaviour with all resources?

And which text app are you seeing this with?

    Thanks for helping Graham,

I was just using a plain text editor and nothing was happening. However, I see now, when using something more of a word processor, like Mellel or the older Pages (not the newer one), that the reference is included as a footnote.

However, I thought I had remembered that when I pasted something I had copied out of Logos that it would append the pasted text with a short line (like a footnote line) then some wording something like "Copied from Logos Bible Software, etc., etc."

It just seems that their was an easier way to copy something to include the reference without having to paste into a full-fledged "word processor" with footnote capabilities.

Its not a huge deal. Just thought I was missing something I thought I previously had.

    Thanks
