I am confused about the number of volumes that I am supposed to own:

A competitor is offering a set of 30 volumes.

I own (in LOGOS) a set of 30 volumes.

I own (in LOGOS) a set of 32 revised volumes.

LOGOS is selling a set of 29 volumes on their web site: https://www.logos.com/product/31152/

How many volumes are there?

IVP says there are 29 volumes.

Logos original has 30 because it created a monograph of info included in the individual volumes (Introduction and Bibliographic Information)

Logos revised edition has 32 because is has both the revised and original versions of the volumes on Mark and Romans. Perhaps only those of us who had the original edition received a 32 volume second edition. Everyone else got 29 volumes (or 30 if Logos kept that extra monograph).

Since IVP says their set is 29 volumes, the 30th that competitor is selling is probably the same monograph created when Logos was creating the first edition for IVP.

Sorry I don't know how the content of the commentary section may be different. The only 'visible' change is that the revised editions of Mark and Romans contain three indexes missing in the earlier versions. They are: authors/writings, subject, and scripture. In fact, all the volumes in the revised edition contain these indexes. So the 'revised edition' of the ACCS seems to simply reflect that all the volumes had these indexes added.

However, the Mark and Romans volumes are individually said to be revised while all the others are not, which leads me to believe the text of those two commentaries was updated, besides having the new (and common to all) indexes added in. There is nothing in either volume to identify what the revisions are, however. Sorry.
