When I click on a verse in a study it turns pink, why, if it is because keeps track of what I have read for me then can I go and see how much of the bible I have already read somewhere in the program?

Hi Peggy
When I click on a verse in a study it turns pink, why
I don't quite understand what you are describing
Are you clicking on a verse in a Bible and finding that it goes pink - or is this in some other resource?
Or are you clicking on a verse in a Bible and finding that a reference to it goes pink in another resource? (If so, this is something known as "Link to Open Panels")
Can you post screenshots outlining what you are seeing? Details at https://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot
can I go and see how much of the bible I have already read somewhere in the program?
You can turn on "Visual Bookmarks" (https://wiki.logos.com/Visual_Bookmarks) to show recent places you have read in a resource
In the current beta version of the next release there is the ability in the library to see how far through a book one has read. So this should be available when the next release is shipped.
Graham
I mean the reference turns pink not the whole verse
thank you Gram!!
Do you mean something like the screenshot below? I have selected Mark 3:15 in NRSV and a reference to that turns pink in BDAG?
This is to help locating references to verses in reference works.
It is enabled by the "Links to Open Panels" visual filter
If you are meaning / seeing something else please advise (ideally with screenshots)
yes that is exactly what I am talking about. Why does it turn pink and is it keeping track for me somewhere?
At the bottom of the post above yours is the image you need - turn off links to open panels. It is showing you the active link by highlighting it/
