Reinstalling L5

Hello....Had bought L6 but returned. So uninstalled L6 and now installing free L5. It downloads and installs correctly but before opening it gives error message " Some of your documents and resources are not compatible wit this version. Go to www.logos.com/install".

What must I still download now?

I dont think that its a question (first) of downloading something else but of clearing up from your L6 installation.

When you uninstalled L6 did you delete all of the data folders as well or just deinstall the program?

It sounds as though you have resources and databases which have been upgraded to work with L6 and so are not compatible with L5.

This would need a complete removal of the L6 data and then an install should work.

Having said this I'm not sure exactly how this will work - haven't seen many cases of this - so its worth waiting for confirmation from someone else or checking with Logos technical support

When you uninstalled L6 the Documents folder was left behind and this gives rise to the error message. So you need to delete the ...\Logos5\Documents folder and restart Logos 5 (assuming you have not uninstalled it).

I'm assuming you are on Windows, so the default install path is C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Logos5 and note that \Logos5 could be \Logos4.
