I have a workspace with many tabs in several tiles. First, I have a tab in one tile activated. Then I click on a tab in another tile to bring it to the front and activate it. I try to use Ctrl-G to get to the reference box, so I can enter a page number. Instead of going there, the reference box on the previous tab/tile gets the focus.
In other words, just clicking the tab doesn't bring Ctrl-G focus to the new pane. I have to click again on the new pane for Ctrl-G to move to its reference box.
The same seems to be true for other keyboard operations like scrolling arrow-up and down. A single click on a new tab in a new pane doesn't shift the focus for scrolling. Sometimes the old tab still responds to the keyboard. This is true even when the new tab "looks" active (slightly lifted up) and when the new tab has shown the red-circle glow indicating that it is active.
It seems to take a second click, either on the tab or elsewhere on the resource, to move the keyboard focus to the new pane.
Is this clear as mud?
