Reftagger doesn't seem to be working properly with the newest Wordpress theme, Twenty Fifteen. It is adding a line-return following each reference (or before the "L" for the Logos Bible Software link).
Note the second paragraph here, after 2Pet 2:22, where there is a hole in the paragraph. You will notice the returns after the references at the top of the post too.
