i have L5 on a windows user account, i also have L6 on a different user account. Is there a way to update my L5 account to the most recent L5 version without it being updated to L6?
Oh my. This sounds like dangerous work. One mis-step and curtains for your Logos5!
I would think running the L5 installer from the web link would upgrade the current user's installation to only the latest L5. Just don't let any automatically downloaded updates install afterward.

Thanks Todd!
That worked in a temporary new user account. So now to try it in my real L5 account.
I've just done it using https://s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.logos.com/LBS5/Installer/LogosSetup.exe, but first ensure that Automatically Download Updates is set to NO.
When that is done use the scan command to get the new books from your L6 Resources folder (Logos 5 scan will ignore the L6-specific resources and datasets).
Thanks Dave!
i will keep a bookmark to this post. That way if i ever need to create an L5 install, then i have a way to do it. i have L4, L5, & L6 installed on this laptop. It allows me to test my s/w tools to ensure that they work with all versions.
