Strange Sync Behavior - Notes Not Syncing

I am encountering some strange behavior. I have two machines that I have been going back and forth on. I have been doing a lot of note file editing and adding/deleting files on my laptop. When I go to my desktop, they are not syncing. The little sync symbol has a red exclamation mark in it. This just started happening yesterday. I do not think it is beta related. The laptop is syncing because I am getting the changes on iPad/iPhone. The desktop is connecting to the internet. It is downloading resources.

Any ideas?

From your description it sounds as though there is a specific issue with your desktop accessing the sync server.

Is it both ways? In other words, do changes you make on the desktop appear on your iPad/iPhone and laptop?

To diagnose we would need logs. Please ensure full diagnostic logging is enabled - as per https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging - then start Logos, trigger a sync, stop Logos (after you have seen the red exclamation mark) and upload logs in a reply to this thread

Thanks for attempting to help, Graham. The whole thing was strange. Some things would sink this way or that way. It was very inconsistent and I was loosing work. So, finally I just copied my laptop installation to my desktop. Took six minutes to copy the 60GB and all was normal. Kind of an extreme measure, but I needed to save time and work progress rather than trouble shoot the problem. My windows virtual installation was fine, though.
