How do you add notes to a Bible resource in 6? In 5 I would just highlight a phrase and right click, and then choose add note. That doesn't work in 6. Dave
Hi Dave - and welcome to the forums
That aspect of notes is unchanged between L5 and L6.
Can you provide some more details of what you are seeing and what isn't working - ideally with screenshots?
Graham
Thanks for your reply, Graham. I made some screen shots to illustrate, but I don't know who to put them into this message.
Please use the paperclip icon in the editor to include them in a reply
Graham, thanks for the tip, although it should have been obvious to me. I'll send two images, separately. The first illustrates what I'm used to doing. The second will show what is happening now when I try the same thing.
Graham, here's the second image showing the pop-up I'm getting now.
Hi David
Thanks for the great pictures - your annotations really help explain what is going on.
In the second popup, note that the "G3004 Greek Strongs" is highlighted on the righthand side of the menu - I expect you clicked this. As you can't add notes to these terms, the note option isn't given.
If you click "you speak and teach what is right" you will get the option to add a note (by selection - which it looks like you are generally doing)
or if you click "Luke 20:21" you will get the option to add a note (by reference)
Hope this clears things up
Thanks, Graham. With your help I was able to discover that v. 6 is working a bit differently because of all the additional helps it puts at your fingertips. I see that if identify the selection within the pop-up box, it provides the "Add a note to "Notes on Luke" tool.
You've been extremely helpful. Thanks for taking the time. Now, go enjoy your Christmas Eve, and may you and yours have a blessed Christmas.
Dave
Hi Dave
You are very welcome, glad we got it sorted
And thanks for the good wishes.
