Thanks for the help I've tried other scriptures as well and all that are found is mainly Spurgeon.
Short answer, Faithlife are still in the process of tagging more sermons for Logos 6
What good is the indexing then?

Indexing and sermon tagging are different things.
Indexing builds indexes which are searched using Logos tools
Labels are specific "tags" associated with resources to provide more focused results. One of these labels is "Sermon" which allows sermons which are explicitly tagged as Sermons to be found when searching. Not all sermon resources have been tagged in this way as yet

I know this is going to sound stupid, but why? when a book is published should it not be tagged? I would think that this would be part of the process of publishing a book for this software... Am I wrong?

There are a number of factors here:
One of the benefits of electronic resources is that they can be updated as needed - and one of the things which Faithlife does do is continually update resources adding extra capability as well as fixing errors
That's great, but in the meantime my awesome new search capabilities are useless until my books are tagged... Is there a time line?
Is there a time line?
I suspect that Logos has an internal time line. But the reaction on the forums to unforeseeable schedule delays has ensured that schedules are not shared with users.
I doubt the 2002 Preacher's source kit is likely to be retagged any time soon. It appears in a passage guide for me because I've long had a collection called "Homiletics" for all books to do with preaching, and this collection appears in my Passage Guide, which does pick up this item - see below.
I am not even sure the Nelson's Sourcebook will be tagged as sermons, as it's a set of sermon outlines. Everything I've found so far that is tagged as a sermon is an actual sermon transcript associated with a particular preacher (Keller, Carson, Spurgeon, etc), and I think there has been a thread on here where others have argued that only this type of sermon should be tagged as such. As you can see, my collection also brings up a number of other sermon outline resources.

I did this as well just so I could get some results, I only used that book as a reference, I literally have hundreds of sermon books that are not tagged, so sad [:'(] I spend the bulk of my time studying for sermons.

Used paper clip in forum editor to attach screen shot:
Users can create Labels and search them (along with Faithlife Labels) => Label Searching
Thankfully can search a collection of Preaching resources for Bible reference:
