How does the search feature work in this forum. I wanted to search on the word "pagefile" to see if someone has answered my question already and got a result of 685 items but when I search the threads there is no mention of the word pagefile.
The forum search feature is not very good, but that's the first time I've heard of it actually being buggy and returning hits that don't even have the word in them.
Google is your better bet if you want to search the Logos forums. Just add site:community.logos.com to your search criteria. And in this case, I'd put the word "pagefile" in quotation marks to prevent Google from also finding hits for "page file" (they seem to think pagefile might be a misspelling of "page file"). I get 91 hits when I try that, and at first glance they all seem to be real hits.
I'll report the bug about search on the forums finding bogus results for "pagefile" elsewhere.
Thanks, I should use both "page file" and "pagefile" because I noticed that even tech people use both. )
