Sda Silver. Used my $20.00 coupon to cut the cost. Hope to get Platinum for the New Year.
Feature Crossgrade (Early)
Some study and sermon resources (Early)
A specific commentary (with the $20 gift from Faithlife)for use in the bible study I participate in (On time)
Merry Christmas Everyone!
[:D]
Just to let you know my folks got me the package. God Bless those two always!
Also I did get a free book using my $20 coupon so God Bless Faithlife for that always also!
After pillaging Logos on bigger stuff, I was more than happy to get A New Testament Biblical Theology: The Unfolding of the Old Testament in the New with the $20 Gift and the remnant needed to get it at the sale price! What a treasure!
If you count me ordering the Theological Journals early, Logos 6 early, and the textbooks I needed for next semester, that would be my Christmas present.
I did use the $20 as well and got the free Lexham Press book.
I used the coupons to get several different bundles. I still have not tagged them all yet.
Picked up the Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus 4 volume set - preordered volume 5 in the series - and picked up the Noet Judaica Research Library. Merry Christmas to me [G]
Verbum Capstone!
Got them a bit early, but purchased Standard Gold and then Baptist Diamond and then Anglican Bronze. In addition, I purchased the Understanding the Bible commentary set. Yeah.....I think I'm set for awhile, though I really want to get Reformed Diamond as well. Logos books are addictive! Smh.
Two Horizons Commentary: Genesis. Set me back a total of $3.20 !
Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible
Supposedly it's on sale at $50 from $80and with the $20 coupon, it came to $30.
that is one of my favorites. When I watch demonic movies with the wife we look up the demons portrayed. What can I say?
I'd be greedy if I had more, but my Christmas started early with the release of Logos 6 and later on the Spanish version of L6. I upgraded all of my base packages: Standard Platinum, Pentecostal Charismatic Silver, SDA Silver, Anglican Silver, Reformed Silver, Lutheran Bronze (which was starter at first, but with $50 credit I was able to cut the price down in half), Baptist Starter (which I didn't have before), Spanish Tesoro Bilingual, Encountering the OT a Christian Survey, Understanding the Bible Commentary and The Church of Christ: A Biblical Ecclessiology by Everett Ferguson, The Jewish Study Bible, Grudem Systematic Theology in Spanish, a Preaching Bundle and a couple of Vyrso Bundles. And soon, my new Spurgeon Commentary Collection will be here (hopefully) before the year is over. Add to that other freebies and perhaps some other resource I've purchased at half off during Facebook/Twitter deals. I'd say I've been pretty blessed! God's been good to me this year!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you!

Ps. The only one I'm debating whether to upgrade it or not is the Chaplain's BP. I don't do much counseling, so I'm not sure $50.18 would be a good investment. I may let it go for now and maybe upgrade one of my denominational BP to a higher one. I'm interested in Studies in Dogmatics and Barth's Dogmatics contained in Reformed Gold, but I'll have to wait for now since it's not a must. Baptist Gold seems tempting too along with the NIB (12 Vols.). Decisions, decisions for 2015!
Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible Supposedly it's on sale at $50 from $80and with the $20 coupon, it came to $30.
I got that awesome dictionary with L5 Pentecostal & Charismatic upgrade for very cheap along with other sets of commentaries. Try to check if the upgrade is cheap for you. You'll be surprise how much more you can add to your library by so much less. $30 bucks is cheap, but only for the dictionary, I'm sure with maybe $80 bucks you can get more stuff. Up to you [Y]
I'll have to pick that up sometime. God Bless you my Brother in Christ always forever!
The Pillar Commentary on Acts, to help with a group study I am leading. All I could afford, as I have invested heavily in Mobile Ed and lots of pre-pubs came up all at once!
I just picked up The New Encyclopaedia of Christian Martyrs using my gift certificate. Thanks Faithlife!
This is one of my favorite resources as well!
Well, my Logos 6 upgrade along with the ICC and Keller sermon library were my early Christmas present. Thanks to my patient, understanding, and supportive wife! (Christmas on Oct. 28, no less.). But I did order the Cornerstone Commentary volume that included Exodus by John Oswalt with the generous $20 Faithlife gift discount. Thanks! Anything by my old professor (I mean Old Testament professor, Doc) John Oswalt is a treasure.
(By the way, it is only by the grace of God that John Oswalt lived to publish any of his work. I bet he doesn't even realize that my first week at Asbury in 1976 I nearly ran over him on his bicycle approaching the Wilmore Campground to hear him speak. I am blind in my right eye, and didn't see him. Barely stopped in time. I was shocked when that nut on the bicycle turned out to be the speaker, Dr. John Oswalt. Don't tell him that was me.)
Still waiting for my overdue $50 gift for my Logos 6 upgrade, which I am sure will come in past due time. Can't wait to buy another book! But, hey, it is a gift, and a mighty generous one at that.
Thanks Logos... I mean Faithlife. (After saying Logos for 20 years, Faithlife does not come naturally to my tongue.)
With my usual good planning I bought a Commentary on Genesis for just over $20 with my gift from Logos then a couple days later decided I really need to do the upgrade to the Gold base package. So I did that also and am enjoying lots of new books now. Still working on tagging and collections now though.
Late Christmas present from my dear friends at Verbum! Thank you so much! I got 2 books: one by Jack Cottrell on Headship and Submission and one by Blomberg "Interpreting the Parables." Thank you my dear friends at Verbum! Now I hope I get another $20 bucks coming from the Spanish department, which for some strange reason, they haven't had any sales other than the release of Logos 6 in Spanish.
Blessings!
Ps. I don't care how the Verbum gift got here, but it literally arrived in the mail...LOL...yes, my regular, physical mail box! Awesome! What a way to surprise your customers. Very thoughtful!

I think I'm done with my buying frenzy for another year. I'll just get the pre-pubs and CPs which I've ordered when they ship, but likely nothing else.
I think I'm done with my buying frenzy for another year.
I'm guessing that you could purchase a house with all that you've invested in Logos over the years!

I spent my Christmas money and used my coupon upgrading to Verbum Scripture Study 6. It's downloading right now.
