Web Site Suddenly Appearing in Spanish?

For some reason the Logos website is showing up in Spanish for me this morning. When I go to www.logos.com, it appears to be automatically redirecting me to https://www.logos.com/es. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? I've tried to find a language setting under my account, but haven't had any luck.

I'm having a different version of the same problem. Whenever I look at the page for The Essential IVP Reference Collection Version 3, I'm switched to Spanish. This does not happen for a number of other resources on the website.

EDIT: I'm getting this behaviour in Firefox, but not in Opera.

The behavior you're describing is by design. You can switch back to Spanish by clicking English in the bottom right corner of the website (in the footer).

I'm not able to reproduce the behavior where it won't switch back to English, but we'll look into it.

Longer term, we'll probably move Spanish to its own subdomain to avoid this scenario.

When I'm browsing logos.com in English, the mere act of visiting certain product pages, especially English-language products, should not change the language that all of the website's pages are being displayed in to Spanish. This is still happening, and it is a definite bug.

Correct. You should not be going to the Spanish site unless:

You click a link to a Spanish page.
You switch to the Spanish site in the bottom right of the footer.
Your browser language is set to Spanish.

Can you reproduce this consistently? Just in Firefox? Which version? On multiple machines? Signed in?

Mine is back to English. I shut the browser down and went away for a few hours, and now when I came back it's showing English again. I did not do anything intentional to shift between languages either time. I was signed in, and I'm use Firefox version 34.0.5 under Windows 8.1.

I don't recall clicking a link to a Spanish page, but I might have done that inadvertently. I wasn't able to navigate back to a page that displayed English, though. The fact that it started showing English again when I closed and restarted the browser suggests to me that it may have been my mistake, or at least something specific to that session.

Very consistently (a good dozen times in a row now), and no matter how I get to that specific resource page (search or "customers also bought"). I get it on Firefox 34, whether signed in or not, but not in IE or Opera. I've only been able to try it on one computer.

Hmm. I fixed the problem. I deleted my saved site preference data from Firefox and that worked. That's not how that should work, though, I think.
