Pbb test version

This question is mainly to the Logos staff. Since the Pbb will be available second quarter, will it be up for beta testing really soon or the first quarter ? Or will there not be a test version ?

Blair,
So far no beta testing is being done on any of the features promised in Q1. I'm sure they will be beta tested before their release, just as all the features in the Q2 list will be. Since the Q1 additions are not yet in beta testing, I would not anticipate that the PBB testing would begin early. Q2 ends June 30, so it could be that full time (or more) before we see this feature added. You can check the PCBeta forum to see when new beta versions are released to find out when PBB goes into testing.

I for one would really like to see the Sermon file addin come on stream for Logos 4, I'd used it consistently in L3 and am missing it's functionality in L4, i.e being able to search sermons etc.

I suppose what I'm saying is - I'm surprised it's not higher up the 'to do' list!

I never really understood the whole sermon file thing. I never imported my sermons into Logos. I guess no one actually showed me the benefit. I do my sermons in onenote

The Sermon File add-in is what people used to post their content on sermons.logos.com, right?
Since the Sermons.logos.com site is featured in the L4 Passage Guide, I would assume Logos will be continuing support of both the site and the tool used to generate content, and eventually bringing that tool up to L4.
I'm also surprised it's not scheduled sooner.

I thought sermon file add in was to import your sermons into logos, and make them search-able.

YES it is. But
QUOTE: The Sermon File add-in is what people used to post their content on sermons.logos.com, right?
also: YES
ie. = BOTH are correct.

Steve
ps.If you purchased it as an add-in module in Libronix 3, then it is still is working in "L3" if you wish to presently add sermons to the logos website.

Before I stopped using L3 I imported a few of my "writings" into the sermonfile.
I liked it because I could see if I'd addressed a certain topic or a certain passage and just what I'd said about it.
For a pastor who's job it is to preach on a lot of topics, and to keep track of those sermons year after year...and not "re-invent the wheel" every time he preaches on something...I should think it would be a very valuable feature.....
Again...I'm not a Pastor....

I plan to be a student the rest of my life... The word of God is eternal infinite, so there is no way I can get it down in 80 years anyhow.

Your probably right. It seems like a good idea anyways. I had to reformat my computer on the fly and lost everything. Being able to upload it online sounds beneficial
