I'm just writing this thread, since I know there's several at Logos that worry about fonts, kerning, and all that stuff. Now and then, they read the forum; this isn't absolutely critical.
My issue is much simpler. On the 'system' panels in Logos6, the range of font size has been much improved. You can now vary the size relative to use. I typically like the CitedBy's, text comparison panels, etc small for quick glances to see if anything unusual. Else the library, searches, etc are larger. Kudos on this.
But the resource panels remain a headache. I did a screen capture below, just to show the range of sizes. On the resource panes, they're all set to 'lowest'. The hebrew text is always monstrous; the greek much more workable. The syriac's ok but when in combination with roman, you're stuck.
But the roman fonts are the most frustrating, especially where you're using small panes and you're forced into pretty large sizes. In the example below, a smaller Qumran scroll index would be far more usable to quickly see which scrolls. Ditto on some of my PBs that are mainly for quick glances.
I'd thought, maybe it's the fonts themselves. But testing out the same resources in Libronix, I have a very broad range of choices there. Why Logos reduced it (and now in Logos6 improved the system fonts) is beyond me.
