To use Verbum Capstone is necessary, adds something or helps to have the Feature Crossgrade?
Or is the same, as Logos Gold that has included the Extended Crossgrade?
Thank you for your help!
Whoever answers your question is going to need more information.
As in what do you have now? Do you have Capstone 5 or Capstone 5+?
Have you decided not to get Capstone 6? Have you also rejected the other Verbum packages?
What other, if any, base packages do you own? What else are you considering?
And how do you run it? Do you currently run Logos 5 with Set Verbum on or Verbum 5?
Verbum 6 Capstone includes all of the features found in the Verbum Crossgrades.
I just now want to buy and build my library, i don't own anything. I ask to orient my buys, and customize them to my field of interest. I mean Verbum 6 Capstone, in Logos 6 then!
Thank you David and SineNomine for your helpful answers!
Ah, if you want to begin your library, and you are interested in Catholic studies, Verbum Capstone is the best option, if your budget is big enough. The Crossgrades just give you features, but Capstone gives you features and hundreds and hundreds of deeply discounted books.
Capstone gives the same features?
A part of Catholic Studies is interesting to me.
By the way, do you know if the Ancient Christian Writers (65vols.) are included to Fathers of the Church (127vols.)?
And which collections have both, ancient greek or latin text with english translation?
Τhanks in advance!
Ancient Christian Writers (65 vols) is a pre-publication => https://www.logos.com/product/40940/ancient-christian-writers-bundle that is gathering interest; does not have enough pre-orders to cover estimated cost of production.
Fathers of the Church series (127 vols) => https://www.logos.com/product/33665/fathers-of-the-church-series is currently available with 36 % off in Christmas sale.
Some bundles to consider: Church Fathers XL => https://www.logos.com/product/46207/logos-6-church-fathers-bundle-xl
and Catholic Studies XL => https://www.logos.com/product/46254/logos-6-catholic-studies-bundle-xl

Welcome to the forums. [:)]
By way of introduction, Verbum is the Catholic branded version of Logos. Verbum has some features that are helpful to the Catholic community. For example, the liturgical tagging and focus of the Home Page, the Catholic Topical Index, and some others.
Hopefully this will help clarify. I think you find this link helpful in understanding what resources are part of each Verbum base package.
Verbum Capstone gives you all of the features that are in the most expensive Verbum Crossgrade. So yes.
Neither of those two collections includes both the Latin/Greek and the English. Both just include the English.
Most books and collections, especially big ones, offered by Faithlife only include one language, usually English. However, you can often find both in smaller collections.
It's only 24% off, not 36%. It's still a good deal, though.

There are some exceptions to this. One big exception is the Perseus Classics Collection (free), which has both Greek (or Latin) and English for many classical works. Includes many classical poets, playwrights, philosophers, orators, historians. Not much in the way of Church Fathers, though. A bit of Augustine and Tertullian but not in translation.
Other exceptions include:
the various Logos 6 Ancient Texts and Translations Bundles
Summa Theologica: English and Latin Bundle (30 vols.)
Missals of the Roman Catholic Church (3 vols.) [Latin and English]
Classic Studies on the First Vatican Council (5 vols.) [Latin and English] (in Community Pricing now, just gathering interest)
Aquinas' Commentary on the Sentences of Peter Lombard: English and Latin (8 vols.) (in Commmunity Pricing)
Apostolic Fathers in Greek and English (Lake Edition)
Apostolic Fathers in Greek and English (Lightfoot Edition)
The Apostolic Fathers: Greek Texts and English Translations
And a few more. Just search on Logos.com for "Latin and English" or "Greek and English"
Some of the above are included in Verbum Capstone but not all are. You can tell if a title is included in a larger collection by looking in the upper right of the product description page under "Recommendations":
Which one to get, which one to get? Hmmmm . . . [*-)]

Note that your price would differ from mine. In my case it would be a no-brainer. Pay less and get the larger bundle! I must have most of what's in it already. Maybe one missing resource, which costs less when with a larger bundle than with a smaller one. Cool!
What you are seeing here is dynamic pricing.
The set is priced at $329.95. For those that have nothing that is in the set.
Because she has almost every thing in it [most likely just missing one item] she gets the rest for $2.
I don't have as much that is in that set so my dynamic price is about $170.
@ Keep Smiling 4 Jesus : Thank you for the clarification on the Fathers, and for the bundles to consider, who suggested me!@ Steve: Thank you for the welcome and for your clarifications on Verbum!@ SyneNomine: You are not tired to answer me back, to my question I did you again about Verbum, although you had given me earlier the answer on it, which I had not noticed! Thank you, and thank you also for your informations on Fathers editions. Help me not buy series will not serve me scientifically!@ Rosie Perera: your detailed informations was more than professional! Thank you very much for helping me not only to get ready what I'm looking, but also for showing me how to look for it!@: David Ames: Your labels about the differences in prices between the members of the forum, will make me more cautious in buying separate books or publishing packages and already I can understand better how the markets operate books packets. Thank you!
