Help with Custom Bible Reading Plan

I have a custom set of Bible passages to read in the next 48 weeks, with one due each Sunday. I've been through the help file, the wiki, and tried to search the forums. I cannot seem to find the right syntax to type in what I need.

The first week 's reading is John 1 and Isaiah 61, the second week Matthew 1 and Luke 1. 

Instead of delineating all the wrong ways I've tried to do this, can someone help me see how to set this up?

Edit: Mostly, I can't figure out how to type in more than one reference at a time. It makes me type in John 1 and Isaiah 61 separately, no matter what I separate them with.

In the custom reading plan you don't need to type more than one reference at a time - rather you add multiple readings to a session one after the other

In the screenshot below I have added John 1 to the session I am creating for 4 Jan

Then I type in another reference - Isaiah 1 - and there are two readings set up for that session on that day

Once I click "Add Session" it is added to the plan

Repeat for the second week and you have
