I’m not certain this qualifies as a bug but I really look forward to the day when all reading plans snyc to mobile devices again [:'(]
I had a couple of PC crashes that I haven't experienced on the Mac.My guess is that those were caused by some delayed response that MS considered a showstopper. Haven't had any in the latest SR so I'm hoping they are gone. But on a lightweight system, I suspect they are still lurking.
Termination error on Windows shutdown, with Logos running. Previously reported here. The cause of this bug may have other latent effects.
VISUAL COPY is the worst feature.
ps: To be fair, I've used this Visual Copy few times, and every time they were painful experiences.
I don't see the benefit paying $50/a year
Sorry Mike I don't understand this one.
What is costing $50 a year?

I'm not sure either, but I suspect he means Proclaim.
Sorry I meant Pro Media, Logos claimed it is worth $50/year. And they threw that in for 2 years for those who spent certain amount of money with L6 upgrade.
What's the use of Pro Media if you cant see all at once, too much scrolling and it doesn't scroll right, annoying. And even if they want us to just slap some verses on the slides, they don't always come out right. What's the purpose of Pro Media and Visual Copy. Fail
Not necessarily bugs that afflict me:-
1. Not getting search results and having to re-index as a workaround
2. Can't index an update because "Permissions" are somehow wrong
3. disappearing fields in Library
4. Collections not updating when I tag/rate a book in Library (Library not updating when I make the change in the resource Info).
I wouldn't call this critical, but tweaking (or recoding pieces) of the L6 Windows engine (not sure about Mac). I really miss L5's snappy performance (after so many years of L4). Grinding the gears.

I agree with all the observations on sluggishness. I'm not sure if it's either tweaking or recoding. My observation is that it relates to new or enhanced features being automatically engaged in scenarios where they didn't previously exist and thus making long-used workflows quite slow now. (My point is that unless the time taken to engage those new features shrinks to zero, neither tweaking nor recoding will correct the problem.)
The example that's frustrated me the most of late is the right-click menu for a word or, especially, a highlighted section of text. I use that capability ***all the time***!!! But with the rearrangement of the info therein, along with the additional features that are accessible from that menu, I frequently get a spinner for a few seconds before it's fully up and accessible. It's jarring and frustrating. I haven't spent a lot of time trying to isolate things, but I think one culprit is the "Sentence" menu entry on the right side of the popup. I don't even know what it's for, but it seems to cause a lot of the sluggishness.
I would ***LOVE*** to have the ability to create a custom right-click menu in which I could put the features that I use 80+% of the time. A "shift + right-click" (or similar) would bring up the default right-click menu.
My $.02 ...

PB recompile failures
That's one of my top ones.
Another one is this which still hasn't been fixed: the Logos icon pinned to the Start Menu reverting to a generic icon on every update of the engine.
It happened again to me just now updating directly from L5 to L6.0a SR-5 on my laptop.
It has been reported many times before. It has been fixed for the case of the icon on the Task Bar, but not the one on the Start Menu, and it drives me nuts to have to unpin and pin it back again every time I update.

Disappearing fields in the library panel (multiple threads including https://community.logos.com/forums/t/98370.aspx) Missing Topic section (https://community.logos.com/forums/p/97108/669628.aspx)
In addition:
3. Not being able to decide which of multiple reading plans should appear on the home page.
4. Not being able to rearrange the order multiple reading plans should appear.
(I am not sure if 3 & 4 are bugs or are examples of the instances of deliberately removing a very useful function in a previous version (L5, L4 etc.) to make room for whatever in a new version (L6).
Whatever the case may be all these add up to a big chunk of lost functionality in an otherwise very good software.
I do hope and have now added prayer to that hope, that FL will look into the possibility of fixing all these ASAP!

1. This is fixed in the 6.0b RC, and so will be fixed for all users once that build is stable.
2. There is a case for this issue.
3. I'll make a case for the incorrect dates missing verse numbers, and there is a case for the Daf Yomi (it should be republished soon) and investigating why reading cycles aren't working. EDIT: I already made a case for the dates, I just didn't find it initially.
4. There is a case for this issue, and I was able to reproduce using Rosie's most current repro steps and resource.
Bradley responded in that thread we're investigating the issue.
Performance is something we're focusing on improving. 6.0b RC 1 featured a drastic improvement in Library scrolling, as a start. (Again, 6.0b is still in beta)

Again, performance is a focus for the coming releases, and I'll make sure Context Menu is included in the list. I know there was a thread recently where Bradley was addressing load times for the Context Menu content with MJ. I'll see if he made a case about that. As for selecting what items are or aren't shown, I don't know if that's something that we'd do, but I'd suggest making a UserVoice for that. AFAIK it isn't on our list currently.

PB Recompile failures - mentioned above, we have multiple active cases for this, for various scenarios. I was able to reproduce with your most recent report, and there is active progress being made on tracking it down.
Shortcut icon - there was a fix for this added to the 5.2b Beta, which I tested and confirmed, and apparently didn't work for users. I'll see if there was a mixup and that code didn't get into the build, or if we just need a different fix.

This level of control for Reading Plans is "on our list" and we have a developer assigned to the case, it just hasn't been fixed yet. We're aware it's a loss of functionality and will be fixing it.

1. Can't change the default location of a book opened to a blank layout from the right side to the left. (Not that I could before, but still.)

Done. Thanks for creating the suggestion.

I don't have L6 yet (February is coming), but I would like to be able to assign certain types of resources to certain locations such as original language texts on the left with translations, grammars and lexica on the right. I usually open other works such as monographs and commentaries in a floating window.
George ... have you tried Laridian? That's a tonge-in-cheek question, since any self-respecting Logosian would laugh at their product, and their unbelievably low prices.
But a very interesting design feature (the PC version) is the ability to do just what you asked. When they first introduced it, I was quite offended (Libronix fan-girl). But it's quite handy.
Actually it's not that hard to implement, both UI and of course Logos knows the resource types. I keep Laridian loaded for that very reason ... quick answers (same on my iOS's).
