Much of my "work" (if you can call it that--I love it!) centers around the Pentateuch readings for a given week in our congregation and the passage guide in L6 places an enormous number of references to the Talmud and other rabbinic literature. I think the issue is that because the reading covers more than a few verses, the guide simply spills out for all the verses. I can't imagine wading through all of them. My only solution would be to do the preliminary work and then make a much shorter length passage guide to see if anything is relevant from the other references.
It would be nice if somehow the guide references would be keyed to a given verse.
