Every Day Bible app is very buggy

I've tried the Every Day Bible app on both a Nexus 5 and a Nexus 6 (both running Lollipop) and can't do basic initial things:
- If I try to login, I enter both the login ID and password, but the "ok" button doesn't ever come active
- If I click the "gears" to go into settings, it just blows out.

These issues are fixed in the latest version available from the Google Play store.
