Just prior to Christmas I received shipping notices for 3 resources that are still showing as "gathering interest" on pre-publication. After a couple of emails to Logos Customer Service and Sales I was assured that these resources are still in the "gathering interest" stage and the glitch in the system would be fixed. The three resources in question with shipping dates are (1). Meditations of a Theologian (to ship 12/31/2014) (2). When You Want to Yell at God (to ship12/29/2014) and (3). Cutting Ties with Darkness (to ship 12/30/2014).
I have now just received "When You Want to Yell at God" so apparently the shipping notices - at least for this one is genuine. What about the other two? Before starting this post I looked the resource up and it was still "gathering interest." I've just checked it again and it is now available.
Please Logos get this right. I do not need my credit card taking hits for resources I'm not expecting for some time because they are posted as still gathering interest and your customer service and sales departments are unaware that shipping is imminent.
I want to add that none of these three resources appeared with a shipping date in my open pre-publication orders. That led me to believe that these resources were in fact still in the "gathering interest" stage as customer service informed me. I was consequently totally surprised to receive notice that one of the resources was ready to be downloaded and that my credit card had been charged.
