Clippings with Page numbers.

I'm really liking the clippings feature. It lets me grab thoughts from lots of different places. I want to suggest that on the back of the "card" where the bibliographic information is stored that the page number(s) be displayed too. If I want to use clippings in writing something that needs citation I will need that information; having it on the back of clippings makes the whole processes easier.

+1 I also would like this feature.

As it stands now, I have to click on the hyperlink associated with each clipping to open the resource in the original location, then enable 'page number' in the resource so I can visually see that page the citation is from.  This is pretty cumbersome.

I've noticed that when using certain citation styles (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style), some clippings do have the page number included within the associated bibliographic information.  But many others don't--including resources which display with pagination so it would appear that the program "knows" which page the clipping came from. Not sure why some resources include the page in the bibliographic information whereas others don't--even ones that can display page boundaries.

Hey, it appears I "spoke" too soon.  With BibTex style of citation the page number is now included.  (Thought I'd tried that before, but guess I needed to restart the program after changing the default citation style.)

I had been using Turabian before (which didn't always show the page).  With APA the page is also shown.  Guess I just happened to be using a style which didn't in some cases.

Yes, it would be nice if clippings automatically showed page numbers, without relying on the choice of certain citation styles etc.

And it looks like there is no way to automatically change all to APA from Turabian. So, if you have a lot of clippings and want to switch to APA, you have to do it one by one.

I take that back. You can change it in preferences and then log out and back in.

I'm wondering, has this problem with Turabian been fixed since the last post in this thread (2017)  Omitting page numbers is not really Turabian and, as far as I can tell, the problem still exists.  Thanks.
