Talked to Kay this morning. Rebuilt Bible indexes. Still have problems.
Any Bible reference links do not show upon scroll over or go to when clicked my default bible. Instead it opens newly added resource commentaries.
Mac 10.9.5 and Logos 5.
It sounds like your most highly prioritised resource is a commentary, not a Bible. Use the "Prioritize" list in the Library to move your preferred Bible to the top. See https://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing for details.
Bradley,
You were absolutely right. I had added these new resources to my prioritization list and it was overriding the preferred Bible.I removed them and bible references work correctly.
My question is this: This is a bug, right? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of the prioritization list? Shouldn't the preferred Bible "Always" be the link to which Bible references go? And shouldn't I be able to say have the Pillar Commentaries show up before other less desirable commentaries? That's four questions, I know.
I think it's a bug. I should be able to prioritize books and have Bible references go to the Bible.
No it is not a bug. Normally one has all Bibles ahead of all commentaries in the priority list or one has deliberately place a commentary in the top five to control the right-click context menu. See the wiki https://wiki.logos.com/A_Sample_Prioritize_List for an explanation of how to order items in the priority list.
