There is no real concept of friends and followers (like Facebook and Twitter) in the Faithlife environment
People can join Faithlife groups and collaborate in different ways, they can send messages to each other, they can get notifications when things happen in their groups.
I expect the "follower" indication you saw was when someone had requested to receive emails when someone responded to a thread.
What are you hoping to achieve / what are you looking for?
I noticed it said I have one follower, however thet is NO tab in which I can see this follower.
Perhaps they intend to allow people to silently follow (lurk) and remain anonymous.
