Textual commentaries

I am interested in building my library with resources that work with the Textual Commentaries section of the Exegetical Guide in Logos 6. Is there a way to identify which books at logos.com are tagged to work with this function?

For that matter, several functions in Logos 6 require resources tagged for that function. Is there a way to identify resources and the functions they are tagged for so we can expand our libraries based on the Logos 6 functions we want to enhance? Maybe include this information in the Product Details section of each resource and (most importantly) provide a way to search by that information (by function) on the website.

I'm not sure, but thinking over it, I suspect this could be one of those "traits" (an undocumented field in the library database) that Mark Barnes once asked to be exposed to the library view. If someone outside Logos, he probably has the knowledge and means to answer the question and maybe even provide a list of books.

Build a custom guide with only the textual variants section in it; run on Gen-Rev and you'll get what you have in your library that appears here.

That's correct. They're in the library catalog, but there's no way of accessing them from within Logos. There are four traits for this section of the guide:

textual-variants:transcription
textual-variants:textual-commentary
textual-variants:modern-edition
textual-variants:ancient-version

The only four resources I have in my library that have the textual commentary trait are:

Introduction to the New Testament in the Original Greek: Appendix
The Lexham Textual Notes on the Bible
A Textual Commentary on the Greek New Testament, Second Edition
A Textual Guide to the Greek New Testament

If you'd like to try and help me persuade Logos to let us see these traits, and create collections from them, you could post your reasons here.

Mark - I supported your post back in May 2013 and did again tonight. I hope Faithlife sees the value to users (and potential for sales) in this request, especially in light of the special resource tagging that supports the new functions in Logos 6.
